The Minister's Advisory Council for Special Education (MACSE) is a key advisory committee on issues related to special education.  This year Cheryl Lovell, trustee for Greater Essex County District School Board serving the Windsor/ Essex County Region was recently named to the Minister's Advisory Council on Special Education.   As a trustee representative, Cheryl represents all provincial trustee organizations and has the responsibility to:

• bring global issues forward from trustee associations,
• share successful practices,
• develop advice and provide feedback to the council at MACSE meetings
• keep trustee associations informed of MACSE activities.

 This web page will contain all minutes of MACSE meetings  throughout the year and any resources /supporting documents that may be of interest to trustees and boards of education.  Please feel free to email Cheryl Lovell if you have specific issues that you wish her to raise at MACSE.  Cheryl's email is cheryl.lovell@gecdsb.on.ca
