The Ontario Public School Boards’ Association (OPSBA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with RTOERO (soon to be Entente Education Canada) that will provide OPSBA trustees with access to the Entente Plus Group Insurance Program.
This comprehensive, not-for-profit program offers health, dental, hospital and travel coverage, and currently serves more than 100,000 plan members across Canada.
When trustees join the program, they also become members of RTOERO, gaining access to a national community committed to supporting the well-being of older adults, as well as advocacy, resources and member connection opportunities. Immediate family members are also eligible to apply.
Program highlights:
- Guaranteed acceptance if transferring from or supplementing another group plan — no medical review required.
- If you don’t currently have group coverage, you may still apply by completing a short medical questionnaire for extended health and hospital coverage.
- Dental coverage is always available, with no medical review (24-month commitment).
- Built-in travel coverage for unlimited trips up to 93 days.
- Premiums that are not tied to age — all members pay the same.
This opportunity comes at no cost to OPSBA or taxpayers. Trustees who join the program pay their own premiums directly to RTOERO. More information is available at rtoero.ca/insurance.
