Please join OPSBA on Thursday, May 20 at 12 noon for our final session in OPSBA’s Speaker and Professional Development Series. We are pleased to welcome Judith Nyman and David Jack (see bios below) who will lead a session on the future of school.

Transitioning from the COVID-19 School Experience

Since first declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization in March 2020, COVID-19 has been, and continues to be, one of the great social and economic disruptors of our time with widespread impact on one of society’s most traditional institutions – school. This session will provide an overview of the observations, preliminary research and implications for the future of school in OPSBA’s ground breaking discussion paper entitled, Transitioning from the COVID-19 School Experience, followed by an opportunity to engage in a discussion forum using some of the document’s key guiding questions.

Join us via zoom on Thursday, May 20 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This series is offered free of charge. Registration is NOT required, but for our planning purposes, please send a quick email to Kendra Devine at kdevine@opsba.org indicating you plan to attend.
