Hosted by the Ontario Coalition for Children and Youth Mental Health – a multi-sector group committed to urgent and positive change for children and youth mental health services in Ontario.
The Summit on Children and Youth Mental Health is a unique event that unites the voices of educators, professional student services personnel, mental health and health professionals, children service agencies, children service advocates, families and students.
The focus of the Ontario Psychological Association-accredited Summit was Moving From Policy to Practice Through Collaboration. Acclaimed speakers offered evidence-informed practices, programs and resources that have been shown to work and can make a real difference in the lives of children, youth and their families. A highlight for the 2016 Summit was the first release of the preliminary results of the 2014 Ontario Child Health Study.
